Visions of Mana characters
Val
The protagonist from the fire village Tiana. As the Soul Guard, he protects the Child of Fire. Val is curious and proud to represent his village on this worldwide journey.
Hina
Val’s childhood friend from Tiana, chosen as the Child of Fire. She is excited to travel with Val to the Tree of Mana.
Karina
From the wind valley Longren, Karina lost a wing in an accident. She dreams of exploring the world and is close to Ramco, the child of a sacred beast who saved her.
Mortrea
Hailing from the moon town Etherana, Mortrea experienced a traumatic event in his childhood. Meeting Val’s party helps him confront his past.
Story Synopsis
Val, from the fire village Tiana, invites Hina to a festival where Faeries appoint Children to maintain the circulation of Mana. Hina is chosen, and Val escorts her to the Tree of Mana as the Soul Guard.
Spirit Vessels
These mysterious items allow characters to harness the power of Spirits in exploration and battles. Each Vessel determines a character’s class, affecting their abilities and weapons. For instance:
Djinn Boomerang
Controls wind whirlwinds to overcome obstacles in exploration and binds enemies in battles.
Luna Sphere
Manipulates time to cross icy rivers or explore different time periods. In battles, it slows enemies or speeds up allies’ magic.
Pikul
A friendly creature that aids in travel. Pikul can be summoned with a bell and helps navigate vast fields quickly while also routing enemies.
