The renowned fighting game, Mortal Kombat 1, anticipates the return of the beloved Kameo fighter Tremor. However, the community is divided over his redesigned appearance, revealed in Omni-Man’s recent gameplay trailer. Some fans feel NetherRealm went too far with the “rocky” aesthetic, contrasting with Tremor’s partially rocky skin in Mortal Kombat X.
It’s worth noting that opinions on Tremor’s new Kameo design vary, with some praising its adherence to the character’s earthly theme. On the flip side, Omni-Man, the upcoming addition to Mortal Kombat 1, garners positive reviews, especially for his impressive fatalities. Set to debut in November, he will be the first guest character in MK1, joining forces with Tremor. The anticipation is evident, as seen on X (formerly Twitter).
Despite the divisive reception, the DLC manages to appeal to some. Omni-Man, originating from Robert Kirkman’s Invincible comics, boasts powers akin to Superman’s, including superhuman strength, flight, incredible speed, and extraordinary durability.
As for Tremor, his geological mastery allows him to manipulate the earth, triggering earthquakes, creating rocky projectiles, and donning a mineral armor. In previous versions like Mortal Kombat X, he alternated between human and rocky forms, adapting his strategy in combat—a preference among players.
