The early access phase of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is underway, but the initial steps of this new game from the creators of the Batman Arkham trilogy are far from promising.
For those who pre-ordered the Deluxe edition of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, starting their game a few hours ago might have seemed like a privilege. However, for many of them, this privilege quickly turned into disappointment. If you were planning to dive into the action tonight, it seems you’ll have to find another way to occupy your time.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Already Out of Service
The official release of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League for the public is set for February 2, 2024, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, for those who opted for the Deluxe edition, the game was supposed to be already accessible in early access. Unfortunately, just an hour after the launch of this version, Rocksteady Studios had to put an end to the experience. The game proved to be unplayable, causing frustration for those who invested more to enjoy it in advance. So, what’s the problem exactly? Players found that they could achieve the main campaign simply by launching the title, providing a solo experience even shorter than that of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. An unexpected performance!
In reality, a major bug forced developers to carry out emergency server maintenance, making the game completely unavailable. It is important to note that Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is an online service-oriented game with mandatory connectivity. Although an offline mode has been promised, it will not be available for either the official release or the early access. Teams have warned that servers will remain suspended for several hours.
“We are aware that a number of players are currently experiencing an issue where the scripted campaign is completed upon the first connection to Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. To address this issue, we are conducting server maintenance for the game. During this time, the game will be unavailable, and we anticipate this situation to persist for many hours. We will keep you informed as soon as we have more information.”
The early launch of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has thus been marred. Some believe that this incident may further tarnish the reputation of a game already feared by fans of the Batman Arkham series.
